The upcoming family picnic will be held on Sunday July 14, 2019 at Goulding Park located at 45 Goulding Ave, North York, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Come out and join the fun games for adults and children. Outdoor supervised swimming available and tennis courts are on a first come first serve basis.
Bring your own food, beverages, tables and chairs. There are several take outs in the area such as Popeyes, KFC, Chinese, Persian and Korean food. Please contact Lorrie for more information.

2018 Fall Golf Tournament
The tournament was held in September. There was no rain although predicted! 19 golfers in total came out to Hawk Ridge and had a great time!

2018 Family Picnic
We had a great turn out with 80 people, including 12 children, age 11 months to 12 years of age, attending the picnic on this beautiful summer's day. It was great to see all the grandchildren at this event.
This year an appreciation plaque was presented by CCASA to May Look-Chao for her sponsorship of the website and for being the webmaster. This was to be presented to May at the July 2017 Picnic.

Hakka Heritage Exhibit Inauguration Ceremony
Saturday November 3, 2018
CCASA attended the unveiling of the Hakka Heritage Wall at the Chinese Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, where the exhibit is mounted on the wall and is on permanent display. Representing the diaspora from South Africa were Robert & Shirley Ho (ex-Johannesburg), Lillian & Michael Leeshanok (ex- Port Elizabeth & Mauritius), Clem & Lily Leesui (ex- Port Elizabeth & Johannesburg) and David & Lorrie Ming-Sun (ex-Johannesburg and Grahamstown).
CCASA members are encouraged to visit the Chinese Cultural Centre to see the Heritage Wall.
