Our Spring Golf was held on Sunday June 10 and the event proved to be a little windy with sunny weather but 31 golfers came out! As usual everyone had a good time. We invite you to join us at our next community event and to share any news, events and things happening within the CCASA community. Enjoy your summer and hope to see you out this year!

Upcoming Events


Family Picnic
The family picnic is taking place on Sunday July 15, 2018 at Goulding Park located at 45 Goulding Ave, North York, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Come out and meet old friends and join the fun and games for adults and children. Outdoor supervised swimming and tennis courts available.  Bring your own food, beverages, tables and chairs. There are several take out options in the area such as Popeye's and KFC as well as Chinese, Persian and Korean food. Contact Lorrie for more information.

The Hakka Heritage Wall

The Toronto Hakka Heritage Alliance is creating a Hakka Heritage Wall display at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Scarborough, Canada. Carol Wong whom many of you know, is on the Hakka Heritage Wall Committee and has approached the CCASA to be a member of the Toronto Hakka Heritage Alliance. CCASA submitted an application in May 2018. Carol is anxious to hear from our members to make contribution towards the wall display. Many of you have invaluable information about life in South Africa so please contact Carol to make this Hakka Heritage Wall as comprehensive as possible. Time is of the essence.
